Are You Not Able to Vote In Person
During Early Voting or on Election Day?

You have until October 25 to request a Mail-In Ballot.

DO I STILL HAVE TIME TO REQUEST A MAIL-IN BALLOT?

Your Early Mail Ballot Request must be made 10 days before Election Day - the Deadline is October 25, 2025. However, don’t wait! If you cannot vote in person, we strongly urge you to request your Early Mail Ballot NOW.

At this point, the fastest and most risk-free way to request and receive your Early Mail-in Ballot is to print out the request form, complete it and hand deliver it to the SUFFOLK COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS on or before October 25 to receive your Mail in Ballot in person.

BOE regular office hours are Monday - Friday 9am to 4:30pm. They will also be open on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Please arrive before 4pm to allow time to process your request.

To complete the request form before you arrive at BOE, download the mail-in ballot application in English or Español, at this link:

https://ballotapplication.elections.ny.gov/home/earlymail

Again, hand delivering your request form will allow you to receive your mail-in ballot on the spot, in person while you wait.

YOU CAN STILL MAKE AN ONLINE REQUEST FOR AN EARLY MAIL-IN BALLOT. Go to this link https://elections.ny.gov/request-ballot to make your online request. At this late date there is no guarantee that it will be processed and mailed to you with enough time for you to mail it back on or before November 4. However, if this is your only option to vote GO FOR IT!

I CANNOT GET TO BOE OFFICE CAN I STILL REQUEST A MAIL IN BALLOT?

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY MAIL-IN BALLOT TO MAKE SURE IT IS COUNTED?

IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED AND COMPLETED AN EARLY
MAIL-IN BALLOT, YOU MAY DROP IT OFF WITH THE POLL COORDINATOR AT THE SOUTHOLD OR ANY EARLY VOTING CENTER IN SUFFOLK COUNTY DURING THE HOUR LISTED ABOVE.

IF YOU MAIL IN YOUR MAIL-IN BALLOT, IT MUST BE POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE NOVEMBER 4, 2025 IN ORDER TO BE COUNTED.

* You cannot request an Early Mail Ballot if you are not already registered to vote. So please make sure you are registered to vote before you request an Early Mail Ballot.
