William Flinter grew up in Mattituck and attended Mattituck High School, where he met his wife Danielle. They later attended Siena College in upstate New York, where William earned a Bachelor’s degree in finance. After graduating, they returned home to Mattituck, where they now reside with their two children, Collin and Lena.
William has worked for a variety of financial institutions, including American Portfolios, Farm Credit East and Capital One Bank. He has served in bank branches on Shelter Island, Southold, and most of the hamlets on the North Fork.
Currently a Relationship Banker at the M&T Bank in Cutchogue, he recently played an instrumental role in helping to transition from People’s United Bank to its new parent corporation.
His deep roots in and knowledge of the local community, along with his diverse background in a variety of local finance and banking institutions, has given him a unique perspective and skill set that will enable him to effectively serve as a Southold Town Tax Assessor.
